Debra A. Wilson

Debra Wilson is an award-winning director and producer of scripted and non-scripted projects.
In 2020 her film short documentary The Lucky Ones streamed in several festivals and won the Stop Stigma Award at the Canberra Mental Health Film Festival.
Debra has also directed numerous corporate, marketing, and branding projects.
As a location manager, she has worked on such films and series as 13 Reasons Why, Sense8, Blindspotting, The Master, and Fruitvale Station.
Debra is an SF FilmHouse Resident and BAVC MediaMaker Fellow alum. She is a member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia and Women of Color Unite. She earned a B.A. in Television/Film Production at Cal-State University, Northridge.
Debra is currently in development on several projects.
